Rich Lowell retired from Delta Airlines in 2000.
While at Delta he conducted borescope training within the Inspection Department and at selected stations around the country. After retirement, he conducted that same training with Delta Test Cell at the Technical Operations Center here in Atlanta.
He was often involved with Engineering, developing new borescope procedures for special inspections and, on some occasions, working closely with Pratt & Whitney.
PowerPlant Borescopes was started in that same year and has continued to grow ever since - even now - often complying with PW Service Bulletins and special inspections introduced throughout the years.
Rich Lowell has also conducted borescope inspections and training on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for their version of the GE CF6 engine, the LM2500+.
The question we ask ourselves is ‘once we have a customer, how do we keep a customer’?We believe we have found the answer!
To maintain growth, our attitude is ‘the Customer is First’ in our decision making process.
We realize that ‘aircraft groundtime is precious downtime’ and needs to be treated as such. ‘Waiting’ is not in our vocabulary.
We do our part to expedite the process by implementing our experience in borescope procedures. At the same time, providing a thorough inspection and reporting process.
Taking a ‘Customer First’ attitude has helped us grow in that we’ve been around for many years, and most importantly, our Customers have stuck with us throughout those years.
