Our Capabilities include:

On-site borescopes for all large commercial engines.

We use the Welch Allyn PXLM VideoProbe with Sony Recording equipment to comply with these inspections. (Start the sample video to the right).

We also have a formatted profile that states the condition of each stage of the compressors and turbines, including the combustion chamber. We dot the ‘I’s and cross the ‘T’s. Reporting the results is just as thorough as the inspection itself.


Borescope Training.

Many Operators and Repair Stations are requesting borescope training for their Technicians. Most often scheduled inspections are necessary. We can prepare the Technician for the specific engine type inspection.


We have 3 Goals:

  1. Understanding the engine internally, from a borescope point of view.
  2. Understand the equipment. Not only knowing how to make good measurements, but how the bad measurements are made also. By the way, just the savings realized in borescope repair costs will more than pay for the training class. The Technician will understand and develop a new respect for the equipment.
  3. Also just as important is an understanding of the specific AMM, be it GE, Pratt, or Rolls Royce. You may be looking at blades and/or the Hot Section; but the AMM is quite different for understanding the inspection procedure and limits.
